The Story:Jaanam Samjha Karo is a love story of a rich casanova (Salman Khan) and a club dancer (Urmila Matondkar). Chandni (Urmila Matondkar), a talented night club singer and dancer, lives an unfortunate life with her three aunts, who dominate her life, and with a weak maternal grandmother.

One night while singing she meets Rahul (Salman Khan), a young womanizer, and falls in love with him. Rahul feels attracted to her but he does not take her seriously. He intends to treat her just like any of his other girlfriends, and wants to have only a short affair, however his dadaji (Shammi Kapoor), wants him to get married to her.

In order to fool him, Rahul asks Chandni to pretend to be his real-life wife, which she accepts to do. After Dadaji leaves, Rahul and Chandni go their separate ways, however, Rahul understands that he has fallen in love with her. Will Rahul return to the waiting arms of his many girlfriends or re-unite Chandni?
